background
I was born and raised on the ancestral homeland of the Puyallup Tribe, in a town now known as Gig Harbor, Washington. My ancestors are settlers, originally from Sweden, Wales, Germany, and France. My sense of home is very connected to the Salish Sea, and I am grateful that I have been able to live near it for most of my life.
I have been compelled by astrology ever since I came across it in elementary school. As an incredibly curious person, astrology has offered me a world where I can never run out of new things to investigate. Though I have been studying astrology for the last decade, it’s been within the last four years that I realized astrology was more of a calling than a hobby. My devotion to learning the language more fluently has reflected that shift. I have been reading charts for several years, and have been doing so professionally since 2020.
In addition to astrology, my other loves in life include making ambient piano music, being near saltwater, eating/making good food, and storytelling. I have two modes: deep in thought, or playful and gregarious. I try to bring both to a session as I enjoy wading through deep waters, but often use humor as a lifeboat.
approach
Astrology is an incredible tool for framing, contextualizing, and making sense of the ever changing chapters of life. I use astrology to get perspective on the past, ground in the present, and prepare for the future. I also find astrology to be an incredibly rich tool for self understanding, exploration and healing. Astrology can help us connect better to ourselves, and to others by giving us language to understand the complex and unique layers that comprise each and every one of us.
One of my favorite things about astrology is that it gives me a sense of hope and a sense of meaning in a world that sometimes doesn't feel conducive to either. No particular planetary configuration will last forever. With this understanding, it affords me a sense of wonder and curiosity about the future. It also helps me gain perspective and to continue to move forward even when times are hard. Last, it reminds me to try to appreciate each chapter for what it is knowing that things are likely never to feel ~exactly~ that way again.
method
My practice is heavily influenced by my study of Hellenistic astrology, however, I do incorporate some modern techniques and principles. I work with whole sign houses, traditional rulerships, and the five classical aspect patterns. I focus primarily on the seven traditional planets, but do take the outer planets into account on a case-by-case basis.
In future-based readings, I use annual profections, outer planet transits, solar returns and eclipses to gain information about broad thematic context. I do not currently work with fixed stars, progressions, or zodiacal releasing.
My preferred method for chart interpretation is to make it a co-creative process. Astrology is a reliable tool for identifying important themes and general mood of a situation or outcome. However, one single archetype can express in myriad ways. This is why in working together, we can get the most insight. I can act as a translator, deciphering the broad strokes for you, and you will be able to complete the picture by bringing the symbolism down to earth and finding where it fits into your lived experience.
Ultimately, my aim is to empower you in finding whatever meaning resonates most for you. I believe that you have the utmost authority over your chart and life.

land acknowledgement and reparative mission statement
I live and work on unceded and occupied Lummi and Nooksack Land as an uninvited settler. I support Indigenous resistance to ongoing colonization, and recognize that I, as a white settler, benefit from a legacy of colonial violence and white supremacy. My active involvement of Indigenous resistance includes participation in mutual aid, as well as monthly payments to Lhaq’temish Foundation and yəhaw̓ Indigenous Creatives Collective. I welcome suggestions regarding further contribution/participation.
